The Pennsylvania Society for Biomedical Research,
Philadelphia, PA

The Pennsylvania Society for Biomedical Research (PSBR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit science education organization formed in 1990 to foster a better public awareness of the importance of biomedical research and the contributions it makes to human and animal health. PSBR carries out this mission by providing in-class activities and presentations that support K-16 science and healthcare education, as well as meaningful career awareness and professional development opportunities. Since 2012, almost 114,000 students and more than 4,300 teachers participated in PSBR's educational programs. Through a variety of educational materials, programs, and in-class activities that now incorporate Project BioEYES, our goal is to educate today’s students so they can become future scientists, engaged citizens, and champions of biomedical research!
