Bringing the excitement of live animals into the classroom.

Our Programs

  • Project BioEYES

Our flagship program is a week-long, hands-on science project that brings live zebrafish into the classroom. Project BioEYES offers exemplary science curriculum in cell biology, genetics, and the scientific method, and is available for 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, 7th/8th, and high school grades.

  • Fish Dynamics

    Fish Dynamics

This week-long program follows up a week of Project BioEYES, focusing on experimental design. The students create and perform their own experiment on how temperature affects the development of zebrafish embryos. This program is currently available through BioEYES Philadelphia and Baltimore.

  • BioEYES Explorers Pre-K

    BioEYES Explorers Pre-K

Our youngest scientists receive the BioEYES experience, observing and learning about zebrafish over the course of a one-hour lesson. During that time they use real scientific tools to observe the adult and baby fish, while learning about what living things need to survive and how humans and fish are similar and different. This program is currently available through BioEYES Philadelphia.

  • Virtual BioEYES

    Virtual BioEYES

Our "Virtual BioEYES" modules replicate our in-person programs for fully-online remote learning. They can be led by the classroom teacher or by a BioEYES educator, and can be done synchronously or asynchronously. Modules are available for 4th/5th grades, 7th/8th grades, high school, and AP level students.
